Successful application despite multiple objections

We prepared and submitted both the pre-application and the subsequent full application for ground and first floor extensions and alterations to the dormer roof extension at this semi-detached dwelling in East Sheen. The application received 8 letters of objection. We had addressed Planning Officer concerns raised at the pre-application stage and gained approval without amendments.

We were instructed to draft the covering letter and justify the development of a mansard roof extension to create two new flats to a corner building on a busy road in Kilburn.

Pre-application submission for a house extension in the Green Belt – Buckhurst Road, Cheapside

We were successful in gaining a positive pre-application response for a large extension to a house in the Green Belt in Cheapside. The Council had previously approved extensions to the neighbouring properties but had made an error in their calculations for the overall size of the extensions and therefore agreed that a larger extension could be permitted at the dwellinghouse. A new access into the property from Cheapside Road was also agreed as access onto Buckhurst Road is so dangerous.

Fiona helped us to get full approval for plans to carry out an extensive refurb of our conservation-area property, which included front, rear and side extensions. Fiona provided extremely efficient support, advising us (time poor and completely new to the planning process) on the risks and merits of different approaches to our appeal - low versus higher risk design options. Cameron Jones recently supported us with our planning application after our first was refused. Fiona submitted a 20 page document including our revised plans, photos and detailed information around the planning policies.
