Pre-application submission for a house extension in the Green Belt – Buckhurst Road, Cheapside

We were successful in gaining a positive pre-application response for a large extension to a house in the Green Belt in Cheapside.  The Council had previously approved extensions to the neighbouring properties but had made an error in their calculations for the overall size of the extensions and therefore agreed that a larger extension could be permitted at the dwellinghouse.  A new access into the property from Cheapside Road was also agreed as access onto Buckhurst Road is so dangerous.

Success – Appeal allowed for a rear extension within a Conservation Area

A rear extension had been built slightly higher than that approved owing to an error by the architect and the Council refused planning permission to retain the extension as constructed. The house owner instructed a barrister to draft the appeal statement and we managed the process and responded to further queries from the Inspectorate. The appeal was allowed and planning permission granted for the extension as constructed.

Planning appeal for a new dwellinghouse in Walthamstow

Cameron Jones Planning was instructed to write an appeal statement and submit the appeal against refusal of permission for a new dwelling. Whilst the appeal was dismissed it was only on one minor design issue with the Inspector agreeing that issues related to concept of two properties, the formation of the rear extension, the proposed living conditions (i.e. room sizes), the formation of the dormer, the bins, and the outlook from No.31 were all acceptable.
