We submitted an application for a client in Twickenham which was supported by a Fire and Safety Statement. The site is within a Conservation Area.

The scheme involved: Demolition of existing two-storey rear extension and construction of single-storey and first floor rear extensions and new bay window, extension of roof and raising ridge by 20cm, installation of rooflights, replacement windows, demolition and part replacement of existing garage and demolition of front boundary wall/fence and replacement with new boundary wall.

Successful application for house rebuild behind front facade

We submitted two applications for this property near Clapham Common in Wandsworth – one for full planning permission and one for a permitted development application. Both were granted. The client then wanted to knock down the whole house but retain the façade so we submitted a further application for this proposal, following a positive pre-application submission.

Granted planning permission without any amendments.

Permission granted for erection of new dwellinghouse in Wandsworth

We submitted an application for the demolition of existing dwellinghouse except for front facade and erection of three-storey (plus basement) dwellinghouse. In support of this, we provided a Cover Letter and a Fire Safety Statement.

The LPA approved the proposal subject to conditions.

Successful Applications and Appeal – Extension in St Margarets Conservation Area

There is much history with this house seeking extensions to make it suitable for the C21st. We submitted an application which was refused and then allowed on appeal within 1 week. We have also submitted two other applications, one which has been approved and one still waiting a decision.

Successful application for extension to a BTM in St Margarets

We submitted a planning application for the conversion of a building from 4 flats to 2 flats and a two storey side and rear extension. The Council refused the application but the Inspector agreed that there was no harm to the conservation area or the locally listed building (BTM – Building of Townscape Merit).

Permission granted for development of 6 flats in Lambeth

I was approached following approval for 5 flats on the site. However, the addition of a further flat required a fresh application with a number of supporting documents including sunlight/daylight, highways issues and negotiation on financial contributions for affordable housing. After a lengthy process with the LPA, planning permission was granted.
