Appeal win – house extensions in Hersham, Surrey

Two-storey side extension, single storey side extension and front entrance canopy.

Elmbrdge Borough Council, when refusing the application, said the proposed two-storey side extension given its scale, bulk and proximity would result in an unacceptable impact in terms of overbearing impact for adjoining occupiers.

Cameron Jones Planning successfully appealed to the Planning Inspectorate against this decision. The Planning Inspector agreed with us that the proposed development would have no significant effect on the living conditions of the adjoining occupiers of no 78 with particular respect to outlook.
